What We Believe

We are a non-denominational church that uses only the Bible as the basis for our faith and practice.  The best way to see what we believe is to come to a service, check out our Resource Center, and ask any questions you may have. 

•  We believe that the BIBLE is God’s Word, written by men, who were directed and inspired by God. It is the complete and only authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3:16,17; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:20,21) 

• We believe that GOD the Father is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, and measureless in power. God showed His love for all people by sending His Son to die for our sins so that we might live for and like Jesus and have eternal life with God in heaven. (I Peter 1:16; Revelation 4:8; Romans 11:33; Luke 18:27; I John 4:7-10; John 3:16,17)

• We believe that JESUS is the Son of God, God Himself and that He became completely man.  Jesus lived a sinless life and chose to die as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people.  Jesus is the only way to bridge the gap of sin between God and people, thus He is the only way to have a relationship with God now, and eternal life with God in heaven. • We believe that the HOLY SPIRIT convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. He is received in full when someone accepts Jesus, thus everyone who is a Christian has the Holy Spirit. (John 16:8; Acts 2:38; I Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:9; I John 3:24; Galatians 5:16-25; I Corinthians 1:22; 5:5; Romans 8: 23; I Corinthians 12- 14)
