We understand that it can be a little unnerving to walk into a place you have never been before. Don't worry, we make it easy. If you like, we have a "Welcome Center" right off the parking lot at both locations. Feel free to stop over and ask any questions you have and even have someone show you around the campus. If you don't want that, not a problem, we have signs that simply point out where everything is. Also, don't be worried about getting singled out or us "passing" an offering plate, we don't do that. Then, get as involved as you want. Get connected to one of our many communities or just show up for church, it is up to you.
The Bridge is a non-denomination church that began in Tucson back in 1992. Pastor David and his wife Kimberly started the church back in the old movie theaters at the foothills mall. Since then we have grown tremendously and now have two locations spread across Tucson and thousands of people have attended The Bridge over the years. We take the Bible and provide real answers to very real questions. We do it in a way that makes sense and you can actually apply it to your life. The services last only one hour and we promise you the time will fly. You just have to see it for yourself!
We start with a short concert for you with our all original music (which you will love!) and then we move into our teaching time which is filled with lots of illustrations, props, clips, and even a bunch of laughter. All this is put in place so you will understand God and The Bible in a very real way. On top of all that our beautiful campuses have excellent programs for kids and teens, resource centers packed with amazing educational tools, food courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, splash pads and so much more. We would love to see you here this weekend!
We have a great teaching team (pictured above and left to right): Senior/Founding Pastor David, Pastor Dr. Andy, Executive Pastor Jake, Youth Pastor Jay, and Ministry Coordinator James.
We have great kids' programs! For every service, there is a classroom no matter the age of the children you have. (For more info on our kids/teen program: Here.)
Of course. If you want to stop at our "Welcome Center" and ask questions, great. If not, just come in and sit down. If you would like to see some of what services are like, check out some teaching clips on our Youtube page.
No. Most people wear what they would wear going to a friend's house. Entirely up to you.
We have summer and winter sessions of ExL (Extra Learning) on Wednesday nights. Also, spring and fall sessions of Small Groups. In addition to this, we also offer different events and groups throughout the year. If you have a teen, they pretty much always have something going on outside of weekend services. More info on all this in the weekend programs.
We have great food courts at both campuses that have weekly specials, a regular menu, and bottled drinks during weekend services. Be sure to check it out!
Never. In the 30+ years of being a church, we have never passed an "offering plate" or anything like that. We only have private ways of giving and that is completely up to the individual.
No, we don't have any "membership" at The Bridge. Be as involved as you want.
